My Leaves from Canada

Recently, I asked a fellow vlogger, Michael Tyas, from Canada to mail me a leaf after he featured it in one of his vlogs.

Michael Tyas' Vlog

The video above is when I actually opened the envelope after receiving it in the mail.

Note: I had to blur the address of the envelope out, but other than that, the video looks great!

Living in colorful New Hampshire I take for granted the changing colors most years.

I think I'm going to steal your idea of framing some leaves and sending them to the family who has moved to places warm.

Thanks for the video

I havne't seen the video yet, but from the photo it seems the leaf suffered a little damage.

that particular leaf is the first one that I picked up after trying to capture falling leaves on video. The green one.

This was neat! I don't think you're a psycho, and I don't think you sound like a chipmunk. Those will look so nice all framed! A little piece of Canada on your wall!

Wow! Came across your vlog a few days ago! I think I commented however I can't remember! I like this clip along with your others! I have sent Japanese stuff to vlogger friends living elsewhere, great communication in the works!
About 4 years ago I was in Hawaii, would really like to see the parks again, and Diamond Head one more time!

I think Nathan is on to something...you can do a whole series about stuff you get in the mail from other vloggers! You should totally do that! Then you can set up a little international vlog shrine in your livingroom! (ok--that might be a little strange...but you know what I mean)

That's actually not a bad idea! I wonder how that would work? Maybe if they send stuff to my work address or a PO Box (granted the item is not too big). I'll see what I can come with and maybe present a vlog about how others can send me stuff in the mail. Great ideas everyone!!! :-)

maybe you can start your own leaf collection from all over the world... here in Italy are all falling down now but I can save one if you want.

Yes, I'd love a leaf from Italy as well! Maybe I'll post up a PO Box or alternative address as soon as think of where I want to receive my mail.

Mark,as for the cow ... I'm not sure how that would fit in my mail box. Maybe something smaller, like a small rock or keychain (that looks like a cow) would be cool!

Oh, and yes, I am hapa haole (50% Chinese + 50% Caucasian), although my "haole" features tend to dominate. Oh well. :-D

I can only imagine the crazy stuff you'll get in the mail.

I linked to you on my site :)

that's beautiful. i found your blog one day after posting "leaf hunters" on "mookie's vlog". my seven-month-old has become completely obsessed with all things leaves. i think it's contagious.
